On October 4th, at the Vietnam National Academy of Music, artists from different generations of the Vocal Department will perform in the "October Emotions" concert.

At a press conference on the afternoon of September 23, People's Artist Quoc Hung, Deputy Director in charge of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, said that "October Emotions" is very special, not only recalling the historic October 70 years ago when the liberation army advanced to take over the capital, but also representing a continuation of tradition in the present and future - the people of Hanoi still maintain that heroic spirit in the process of building and developing the country.

“Two years after the Liberation of Hanoi, the National Academy of Music was established, initially named the Hanoi Conservatory of Music. The history of the Vietnam National Academy of Music is intertwined with the ups and downs of Hanoi, so the October Emotions event is organized as a tribute to the beloved capital that has witnessed the academy's development day by day,” People's Artist Quoc Hung shared.

"October Emotions ," directed by People's Artist Quoc Hung, unexpectedly features Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan as the General Director, musician Son Thach as the Music Director, and artist Pham Hoang Giang as the Stage Director.

The program brings together renowned artists from the Vocal Department of the Vietnam National Academy of Music: People's Artist Quang Thọ, People's Artist Quốc Hưng, Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, Meritorious Artist Tân Nhàn, Meritorious Artist Phương Nga, Meritorious Artist Phương Uyên, singers Anh Thơ, Quang Hà, Tuấn Anh, Phúc Tiệp, Lê Anh Dũng, Nguyên Vũ, Đào Tố Loan, Bích Hồng; young singers such as Hương Ly, Hương Diệp, Khánh Ly, Mạnh Hoạch, Quang Tú, Ngọc Định, Rapper Mezzo, pianists Bùi Đăng Khánh and Trịnh Minh Trang…

As the program's General Director, Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan stated that the lecturers from the Vocal Music department not only know how to sing classical music but will also engage the audience with various musical genres. "The program will be very interesting and innovative," the female artist affirmed.

When asked if being the overall director "managing" a cast of famous artists with their own unique musical styles put pressure on her, Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan replied: "We understand each other very well. When we start the program, everyone does their own job; there's nothing difficult. All the artists are extremely proud and honored because with music, nothing can be too difficult for them. We see this as an opportunity to showcase our brand so that the audience can see that the Vietnam National Academy of Music is a cradle for quality music training, promising a program worth watching."

October's Emotions consists of four chapters: Thang Long - Hanoi, Hanoi of the Old Days, Hanoi of Memories, and Songs of the People of Hanoi . Audiences will enjoy famous songs such as: People of Hanoi, Song of Hanoi, Hanoi of Faith and Hope, Hanoi on a Windy Night, Remembering Hanoi, The Melancholy Winter Afternoon in Hanoi, Hanoi's Twelve Seasons of Flowers, Hanoi in the Season of Falling Leaves, Hanoi Xam (traditional Vietnamese folk singing), Hanoi of the Old Days…
