On September 28, the Provincial Customs Branch organized the second Customs - Business Dialogue Conference in 2023. Attending the conference were representatives of relevant departments and branches; leaders of Khanh Hoa Customs Department and enterprises with import and export activities in the two provinces of Ninh Thuan and Khanh Hoa.

In the first 9 months of 2023, the Provincial Customs Department has implemented many contents to support enterprises related to investment, tax policies, and implementation of customs procedures for import-export enterprises. Thanks to that, import-export activities in the province have improved a lot. In the first 9 months, 9 enterprises participated in customs procedures for import-export goods with 909 declarations, reaching more than 70 million USD, collecting more than 21 billion VND for the state budget. Enterprises complied well with the provisions of the law on tax and customs.

At the conference, representatives of the provincial Customs Department disseminated and guided a number of documents related to export tax schedules, import tax, list of goods and absolute tax rates, mixed tax, import tax outside the tariff quota; determining the origin of import and export goods; guiding customs procedures for cases of import and export goods with agreements on right and wrong... to enterprises and answered opinions and problems of enterprises in the process of implementing customs procedures. Thereby, helping enterprises understand and improve their compliance capacity, limit errors and mistakes when implementing customs procedures.
