On the evening of March 26, the leader of Nam Tu Liem District Police ( Hanoi ) said that the unit is investigating and working with those involved in the fan fight at My Dinh Stadium.

In a short clip shared on social media, two female fans sitting in the same row in the stands got into a fight. A man rushed forward to assault the woman in the red shirt. This person was then seriously injured in the face.

According to witnesses, the incident happened in the first half of the match between Vietnam and Indonesia. At that time, a fight broke out between a group of Vietnamese fans after an argument. "A woman had a lot of blood coming out of her head and face. In addition, I saw a man hitting her in the face," said Mr. H.D.M. (26 years old, spectator).

Security forces at the stadium then had to appear to restore order in the stands.

Tonight, Vietnam lost 0-3 to Indonesia. The away team's goals were scored by Jay Idzes, Ragnar Oratmangoen and Ramadhan Sananta in the 9th, 23rd and 90+8th minutes respectively. This is also the only time in the past 20 years that Vietnam lost to Indonesia at home.

The fact that the Vietnamese national team has continuously lost to Indonesia not only closes the door to advancing to the 2026 World Cup qualifiers but also shows the failure of both the VFF and Mr. Troussier's long-term strategy.
