Thanh Thanh Cong - Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company (SBT code) has just announced information on 2 candidates for the new term of the Board of Directors.

Of particular note is Ms. Huynh Bich Ngoc. Ms. Ngoc (born in 1962) is known as the "sugar queen." With over 40 years dedicated to the agricultural industry , Ms. Ngoc is one of the key figures in transforming TTC AgriS into a major sugar company in Vietnam. Ms. Ngoc previously served as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of SBT and resigned in July 2024 upon the expiration of her term.

Currently, Ms. Ngoc holds the position of Permanent Vice Chairman and General Director of TTC Group, and Permanent Vice Chairman and General Director of Thanh Thanh Cong Investment Joint Stock Company.

At SBT, Ms. Ngoc holds 69.2 million shares, representing 9.09%. Thanh Thanh Cong Investment Joint Stock Company, where Ms. Ngoc serves as a leader, holds 166.5 million SBT shares, representing 21.85%.

Ms. Dang Huynh Uc My (Ms. Ngoc's daughter) has taken over the position of Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of SBT from her mother until now. Ms. Ngoc's daughter currently holds 74.9 million shares, representing 9.84%.

Mr. Dang Van Thanh (Ms. Ngoc's husband) does not hold any SBT shares. Mr. Dang Huynh Thai Son (Ms. Ngoc's son) currently holds 117,700 SBT shares, representing 0.02%.

Another candidate is Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngu. Mr. Ngu served as General Director of SBT from 2014 to August 2024. He is currently the Permanent Deputy General Director of TTC Group and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Toan Hai Van JSC. Mr. Ngu does not hold any SBT shares.

The annual general meeting for the 2023-2024 fiscal year is scheduled to take place on October 24th. According to the documents prepared for the meeting, SBT has set a revenue target of VND 26,168 billion for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, a 10% decrease compared to the previous year, and a pre-tax profit target of VND 900 billion.
