According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, the current flood situation shows that water levels are rising on the Cau River (Bac Ninh province), the Thuong River (Bac Giang province), and the Thai Binh River (Hai Duong city).
Floods on the Thao River in Yen Bai and Phu Tho are receding. Floods on the Lo River in Tuyen Quang and Vu Quang are also receding.
Flood levels on the Hoang Long River (Ninh Binh province) are changing slowly. Flood levels on the Luc Nam River ( Bac Giang province) are changing slowly.
Details of water levels at 9:00 AM on September 12th on the rivers are as follows:
On the Thao River in Yen Bai, the water level is 31.27m, 0.27m below alarm level 3; in Phu Tho, it is 16.98m, 52cm below alarm level 1.
On the Cau River at Dap Cau, the floodwaters are rising again; on the Thuong River at Phu Lang Thuong, the water level is rising; on the Luc Nam River at Luc Nam, the water level is at 6.33m, 0.03m above alarm level 3.
On the Lo River at Tuyen Quang, the water level is receding to 24.53m, 0.53m below alarm level 2; on the Hoang Long River at Ben De, the water level is rising to 4.71m, 0.71m above alarm level 3; on the Thai Binh River at Pha Lai, the water level is rising to 6.19m, 0.19m above alarm level 3.
The water level on the Red River in Hanoi is currently at 11.18m, trending downwards, and is now 0.32m below alarm level 3.
