Paris Olympics 2024: Vietnamese female archer wins 15th ticket

The Vietnamese sports delegation continues to have another place at the 2024 Olympics with the honor belonging to athlete Do Thi Anh Nguyet of Vietnam Archery. Accordingly, Do Thi Anh Nguyet becomes the 15th athlete of Vietnamese Sports to win the right to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Do Thi Anh Nguyet has been confirmed by the World Archery Federation as one of the last five athletes to attend the 2024 Olympics based on the world rankings in the individual event. The archer from Hanoi will join Le Quoc Phong in another mixed 1-string event at the Paris Olympics.

Do Thi Anh Nguyet ranked high on the World Rankings thanks to her good performance at the 2023 Asian Championship (27 points), 19th ASIAD (21 points), 2023 World Championship (20 points), 2023 Asian Olympic qualifiers (17 points). This is also the second consecutive Olympics for Vietnam's number 1 female archer in the 1-string bow event.

Previously, 14 Vietnamese athletes had tickets to the 2024 Olympics.
