
The Congress elected 134 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province for the 2025-2030 term. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province for the 2024-2029 term, continued to be elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province for the 2026-2031 term. The Congress also elected a 26-member delegation to attend the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term.

Speaking at the Congress, Gia Lai Provincial Party Secretary Thai Dai Ngoc acknowledged the achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the province and requested the Provincial Front in the next term to continue to promote its core role in building the great national unity bloc. The Gia Lai Provincial Party Secretary also requested the new members of the Gia Lai Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, constantly innovate, create, lead and direct the activities of the Fatherland Front to become more and more substantial, effective and quality, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new situation. The local Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and organizations in the province continue to pay attention, focus on mobilizing and making maximum use of available resources so that people can soon stabilize their lives, restore production and business.

During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels in Gia Lai province quickly stabilized its organization after the merger, perfected its apparatus from the province to the grassroots level; innovated propaganda work in the digital environment; promoted the role of village elders and prestigious people; strengthened social supervision and criticism. Campaigns and emulation movements achieved many outstanding results, especially completing the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025 with more than 12,500 houses supported for repair and new construction; contributing to reducing more than 13,000 poor households among ethnic minorities. People's diplomacy activities continued to expand, strengthening connections with overseas Gia Lai compatriots.
Entering the new term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Gia Lai province has set out many key action programs such as: innovating propaganda work, creating social consensus; promoting digital communication and grasping public opinion; improving the quality of supervision and criticism; consolidating grassroots democracy models; effectively implementing sustainable campaigns and emulation movements; promoting the role of self-management, building "Solidarity - Prosperity - Happiness" residential areas; expanding people-to-people diplomacy, strengthening propaganda about borders, islands and connecting overseas Vietnamese; building a streamlined and effective front apparatus; promoting digital transformation, improving staff capacity.
On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Central Relief Mobilization Committee supported Gia Lai province with 30 billion VND from the Central Relief Fund to overcome damage caused by storms and floods and soon stabilize people's lives.
