According to Mr. Bui Trong Tue, the current traffic volume on National Highway 1A, through Deo Ngang (old) is not much because most people choose to go through the tunnel. However, specific information about the incident, the level of danger, and how to handle it will be reported after the professional force has checked.

Previously, local residents reported that cracks appeared on National Highway 1A, the section passing through Deo Ngang Pass, connecting Quang Tri - Ha Tinh (Phu Trach commune, Quang Tri province). Some cracks were about 3cm wide, could fit a finger, stretched for dozens of meters and were clearly visible on the asphalt layer.

Many vehicle owners are worried that this situation could cause landslides or road collapse, especially for vehicles traveling below the foot of the slope. Meanwhile, Quang Tri province is currently experiencing light to moderate rain, making people traveling through the cracked section even more worried.
