On the evening of January 18, My Phuoc Prison under Department C10 ( Ministry of Public Security ) announced that a prisoner serving his sentence had escaped.
According to initial information, from about 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the same day, prisoner Vuong Trong Hung (25 years old, residing in Lien Nghia town, Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province) committed the crime of Fraudulent appropriation of property and was arrested in November 2020 and sentenced to 13 years in prison by the court and is serving his sentence at My Phuoc Prison.

At that time, Hung was working outside, taking advantage of the prison guards' negligence, he swam across the river and escaped.
