During this donation, Thiet Ong commune received 16 newly built houses and 3 repaired houses; Dien Lu commune received 4 new houses. In addition, the delegation also presented more than 60 essential gifts to people with disabilities in difficult circumstances. The total cost of the program is about 2.3 billion VND.

Thiet Ong and Dien Lu are two mountainous communes with complex terrain, often affected by floods and landslides. The natural disasters in August 2025 and storms No. 3, 5, 10, and 11 alone caused severe damage: Many houses were swept away or damaged by over 70%, schools were deeply flooded, crops were lost, and the transportation and irrigation systems were seriously damaged. Support for housing reconstruction has become urgent, requiring the cooperation of state agencies, businesses, and the community.
At the handover ceremony, Colonel Tran Hong Phu, Deputy Director of Department C06 shared: “The support of the Dream Creation Fund is very meaningful for social security work. The new houses are a support to help people feel secure in their work, create a more stable life, and at the same time demonstrate the spirit of close coordination between the police force, local authorities and businesses.”

C06 and DMF said they will continue to coordinate to support 10 more houses for disadvantaged households in Thanh Hoa with an estimated cost of 1.3 billion VND. Before the donation ceremony, the working group conducted a field survey from July 2025 and noted that many households were living in temporary, dilapidated stilt houses that were not safe during the rainy and stormy season. Thanks to the support of the local government and Fatherland Front, the construction was urgently implemented in more than three months and completed on time.
“Each house is not only a shelter but also a source of spiritual encouragement for people to confidently start over after natural disasters,” said Ms. Truong Cam Thanh, President and CEO of DMF. “The Fund will continue to work with agencies and localities to implement more sustainable projects, aiming to support vulnerable communities in the long term.”
