(DN)- On September 5, Deputy Director of Dong Nai Province Construction Investment Project Management Board Nguyen Linh said that the unit has sent a document to the province's functional agencies regarding the implementation of traffic flow and ensuring traffic safety for the installation of girder span No. 2 of the Vo Nguyen Giap overpass, in the construction area of ​​the intersection between this road and Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, Phuoc Tan ward, Dong Nai province.

Accordingly, based on the construction permit for the connecting intersection and on-site inspection of the traffic flow control plan to serve the installation of girder span No. 2 of the N0 branch bridge, at the intersection of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway and Vo Nguyen Giap street, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board announces the traffic flow plan and time for the construction.

Specifically, traffic regulation and diversion on Vo Nguyen Giap Street to serve the construction of the above item will be carried out in 2 sessions: from 10:00 p.m. on September 5, 2025 to 5:00 a.m. on September 6, 2025; from 10:00 p.m. on September 6, 2025 to 5:00 a.m. on September 7, 2025.

During the time of traffic regulation and diversion for construction, vehicles traveling on Vo Nguyen Giap Street in the direction of Ho Chi Minh City to the construction area (Km1861+138 according to Vo Nguyen Giap Street's route) will be diverted to GT1 branch (road surface width 11m) to go around the construction area and connect with Vo Nguyen Giap Street, moving towards Ho Chi Minh City according to the route.

For vehicles traveling on Vo Nguyen Giap Street towards the old Trang Bom district, when reaching the construction area (Km1862+010 according to the route of Vo Nguyen Giap Street), turn left onto GT1 Road, go around the construction area and connect to Vo Nguyen Giap Street to move towards the old Trang Bom district according to the route.

The intersection between Vo Nguyen Giap Street and Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway is part of Component 1 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project. This is one of the large intersections with complex construction. According to the Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board, this intersection has now completed 65% of the construction volume, completed the overpass piers and ensured the installation of girders. Contractors are speeding up the progress and completing this item to ensure synchronization with the entire project, achieving the goal of technical traffic opening of the project before December 19, 2025 as required by the Prime Minister .
