On July 14, Mr. Dang Dinh Toan, Vice Chairman of Kon Plong Commune, Quang Ngai Province (formerly Hieu Commune, Kon Plong District, Kon Tum Province) said that the locality had just discovered two waterfalls deep in the forest.

Accordingly, the locality has recently organized surveys of natural landscapes in the area to research and develop experiential tourism . During this trip, the survey team discovered two waterfalls located in the middle of a natural forest.
The tourism development potential of these two waterfalls is huge.

The first waterfall is named So Roach by the locals, located in Kon Plong village, Kon Plong commune. The second waterfall is named Ho Kook, located in the management area of Thach Nham Protective Forest Management Board.
Both waterfalls are nearly 20 km from the commune center. The main road is a forestry road through old forests and is still difficult to access.

The commune authorities believe that both of these waterfalls have the potential to develop discovery and experience tourism. The commune is currently planning to develop tourism in the above waterfall areas.
In addition to the two waterfalls above, according to Mr. Dang Dinh Toan, local people also provided information about 8 other waterfalls located in the old forest. In the near future, the Kon Plong commune government will continue to survey the remaining waterfalls to develop tourism.
At an altitude of over 1,200 m above sea level, like Mang Den, Kon Plong commune has an average temperature of 16 - 20 degrees Celsius. With a terrain mainly of hills and mountains, forest coverage reaching 82%, this place has many scenic spots, lakes, waterfalls, stone streams and pristine indigenous culture.
