Approval of Ma Da Bridge Construction Investment Project with total cost of over 133 billion VND

(DN)- On July 29, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha signed Decision No. 585/QD-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee approving the Ma Da Bridge Construction Investment Project.

Accordingly, the Ma Da Bridge Construction Investment Project, including the bridge approach road, has its starting point intersecting with Provincial Road 753; its end point intersecting with the connecting road from Ma Da Bridge to Ring Road 4 - Ho Chi Minh City, in the areas of Tan Loi and Tri An communes, Dong Nai province.

Ma Da Bridge is a traffic project, group C; level III with a design speed of 80km/h. In phase 1 investment, Ma Da Bridge has a cross-section of 20.5m wide with 4 lanes for motor vehicles, 2 lanes for non-motor vehicles, a median strip, and railings. The approach road to the bridge is invested in construction with a road surface width of 4 lanes for motor vehicles, 2 lanes for non-motor vehicles on both sides, a median strip, and dirt shoulders on both sides of the road. At the same time, the project will also invest in other related auxiliary works.

Also according to the project approval decision, the Ma Da Bridge Construction Investment Project has a total investment of more than 133 billion VND. Phase 1 of the project is divided into investment phases from 2025-2027. The completion phase will be studied for investment after evaluating the investment efficiency of the phased phase. The Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board is the unit assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to be the project investor.

According to the Provincial People's Committee, the investment in the construction of Ma Da Bridge aims to facilitate traffic connection between Dong Nai province (old) and Binh Phuoc province (old), creating a smooth traffic system in the new Dong Nai province, thereby serving the travel and transportation needs of the people.

At the same time, forming an inter-regional traffic axis connecting the Central Highlands provinces to Long Thanh International Airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai deep-water port, creating conditions to promote the development of inter-provincial logistics infrastructure, industrial parks... promoting socio -economic development of localities.
