Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi visits and encourages new soldiers

On May 9, a delegation of the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, led by comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, visited and encouraged new soldiers performing military service and training units in 2025.

The delegation visited and encouraged new officers and soldiers at Regiment 31 - Infantry Division 309, with 80 new soldiers in training; Engineer Brigade 25, with 80 new soldiers in training; Artillery Brigade, with 20 new soldiers in training; Armored Brigade 26 (all under Military Region 7), with 125 new soldiers in training, all in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province.

Sharing with reporters, soldier Truong Cong Hoa (Company 12, Battalion 9, Regiment 31) said that after nearly 3 months of training at the unit, he was very excited and enthusiastic. The enthusiastic guidance of the unit's officers helped Hoa overcome homesickness and gradually adapt to the military environment.

“I hope that after completing my military service, I will improve my physical strength and health. Especially, I will become a more disciplined and responsible citizen, contributing more to my family, locality and city,” soldier Hoa shared.

Reporting to the working delegation, representatives of the training units said that over the past 3 months, the new soldiers of Ho Chi Minh City have quickly integrated into the environment, have a stable mentality, their health and physical strength have been constantly improved; they have clearly matured and grown up, and have a good awareness of the revolutionary tasks and the unit.

Soldiers also master the contents of troop management regulations and formation regulations; and are proficient in basic technical and tactical contents...

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi kindly asked about and encouraged new soldiers performing military service at the above training units.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi also expressed his pride and joy when visiting units with a long tradition of heroism. This is a favorable condition to educate and train new soldiers who have just completed nearly 3 months on the training ground.
