In his address to the congress, Deputy Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee Lam Minh Thanh requested the Can Dang Commune Party Committee to strengthen the building of a clean and strong Party and political system, in conjunction with administrative reform within the Party. At the same time, he urged them to enhance the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations; build a team of exemplary, people-oriented, and responsible cadres and Party members. He also called for continued implementation of Central Resolutions 4 of the 12th and 13th Party Congresses on Party building and rectification, linked with studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh.

Can Dang commune quickly stabilized its organization, building unity and cohesion throughout the Party committee. It effectively implemented planning, invested in transportation infrastructure, managed land and the environment; and applied science and technology to production in a green and circular manner.

Promote the application of information technology in management and administration, digitize records and data; build a digital government to serve the people and businesses quickly and transparently. The Congress identified key breakthroughs for the 2025-2030 term: Focusing on investing in human resource development towards high specialization, effectively implementing digital transformation associated with administrative reform; strengthening career guidance and vocational training to meet the needs of the labor market; promoting the shift in crop and livestock structure, encouraging the development of high-tech application models; developing trade and services; and mobilizing all resources to invest in upgrading infrastructure and transportation systems in the area.

The Congress adopted 14 targets, including an average per capita income of 85 million VND/year by 2030; a reduction in the poverty rate according to the multidimensional poverty standard to below 2.5% by 2030; a health insurance coverage rate of 95%; a target of 3% annual increase in the number of new Party members during the term; and the goal of achieving 100% drug-free commune status by 2030…

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee appointing the Executive Committee of the Can Dang Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 27 members, with a Standing Committee of 9 members. Comrade Tran Tan Phuong was appointed to the position of Secretary of the Can Dang Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
