According to the Sub-Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Quality Management, from the end of August 2023 to the present, the unit has coordinated with the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development of the districts, the Economic Department of La Gi town, the Economic and Infrastructure Department of Phu Quy district and a number of related units to organize 9 training courses on disseminating and updating regulations on food safety management in localities in the province (excluding Phan Thiet city).
The training courses were attended by food safety management officials, officials in charge of food safety sub-criteria in the new rural development program at the district and commune levels; owners of production facilities involved in crop cultivation, livestock farming, aquaculture, fishing; and the preliminary processing and processing of agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products, with 70 delegates per class/session in each district and town.
Accordingly, at the training course, delegates were briefed on new regulations regarding food safety and quality management. For example, Circular 32/2022/TT-BNNPTNT amends and supplements several articles of Circular 38/TT-BNNPTNT. The purpose is to ensure that citizens, businesses, and local management agencies are aware of and comply with the regulations; and to guide the implementation of criterion 17.10 for new rural communes and criteria 18.4, 18.5, and 18.6 for advanced new rural communes.
Simultaneously, delegates were introduced to e-commerce platforms; level 4 online public services; and digital transformation in agriculture with Mobifone 's MobiAgri application. The aim was to make farming more convenient and efficient for farmers, and to provide information about a competition to learn about food safety laws… At the same time, it aimed to support and guide producers and businesses in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries in accessing methods of promoting and selling products on e-commerce platforms.
