Hue University of Law has decided to revoke the master's degree in law of Ms. Dao Thi Bich Thuy - who was appointed vice principal of Kinh Bac University.

On the morning of February 13, Mr. Doan Duc Luong, principal of Hue University of Law, said that the school had decided to revoke and cancel the master's degree in economic law of Ms. Dao Thi Bich Thuy - who was accepted and appointed to the position of vice principal and chief of staff of Kinh Bac University by the vice president of the school council.
The reason is because Hue University has issued a decision to cancel the 2021 master's admission results for economic law for Ms. Thuy.
Ms. Thuy is responsible for returning her master's degree to the school within 30 days.
"We issued the revocation decision on January 10. To date, Ms. Thuy has returned her master's degree and related documents to the school," said Mr. Luong.
Previously, on February 26, 2024, Ms. Thuy was accepted and appointed by Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hong - Vice President of the Board of Directors of Kinh Bac University - to hold the position of Vice President of Kinh Bac University and Chief of Office.
In November of the same year, Ms. Thuy had her graduation recognition and bachelor's degree revoked by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi due to violating the university entrance requirements stipulated in Clause 3, Article 4 of the regulations on admission to the regular training system in universities, colleges and vocational secondary schools issued under Decision No. 461 dated February 11, 1991 of the Minister of Education and Training .
In early 2024, Dong Da District Police also issued a decision to administratively sanction Ms. Dao Thi Bich Thuy for the act of "insulting and defaming the honor and dignity of others" after verifying the citizen's complaint.
