Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung and the delegation came to offer flowers in memory of the Cuban national hero, who sowed the seeds of friendship between the two brotherly countries half a world apart when, at the end of the 19th century, he wrote the famous essay "A walk on the land of the Annamese" published in the Tuoi Vang magazine, in which he praised the Vietnamese people's tradition of patriotism and indomitable resistance to foreign invaders.
