Quang Nam deploys determination of the 2024 Administrative Reform Index of agencies, units and localities

Determining the results of the PAR Index aims to assess in a substantial, objective and fair manner the results of the annual implementation of PAR work of agencies, units and localities; as a basis for assessing the level of task completion, responsibility of the head and one of the criteria for evaluating and considering emulation titles and forms of rewards in 2024 for collectives and individuals.

On the basis of the 2024 PAR Index, clearly identify the strengths and weaknesses in implementing PAR, helping agencies, units and localities make necessary adjustments in goals, content and solutions in implementation.

The subjects of assessment and ranking of the PAR Index include: 20 specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Economic Zones and Industrial Parks Management Board; 18 People's Committees of districts, towns and cities; 5 provincial vertical agencies (Provincial Tax Department, Provincial Customs Department, Provincial Police, Provincial Social Insurance, Provincial State Treasury).

Some tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to deploy the determination of the PAR Index in 2024 include guiding the implementation of the plan to determine the PAR Index of agencies, units, and localities in 2024; self-assessment and scoring of the PAR Index; conducting sociological surveys; establishing a council to appraise the results of self-assessment and scoring of the PAR Index in 2024; appraising the results of the PAR Index; synthesizing and developing a report to determine the PAR Index in 2024; advising the Provincial People's Committee to approve the results of the PAR Index in 2024.

The Provincial People's Committee requested the Departments of Information and Communications, Planning and Investment, Justice, Finance, the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Provincial Inspectorate, and the Provincial Police to coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs in monitoring and evaluating the results of administrative reform in 2024 according to their assigned functions and tasks.
