Exciting contest to propagate to young people about drowning prevention and Children's Law

On the morning of December 5, at the Cultural House of Bao Nhai Commune, Lao Cai Province, the Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the People's Committee of Bao Nhai Commune to organize a contest to propagate to young people about drowning prevention, child injuries and the Law on Children, attracting the participation of many students from 6 schools in the area.

The contest had the participation of 6 teams from the following schools: Bao Nhai Secondary School, Ban Cai Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Coc Lau Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Nam Luc Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Coc Ly Secondary Boarding School No. 1 and Coc Ly Secondary Boarding School No. 2.

Each team consists of 5 members, competing in 3 rounds: Greeting - introducing the team in a creative and humorous way; Knowledge contest - drawing lots and answering 3 questions related to drowning prevention, injury accidents and Children's Law; Propaganda skit on drowning prevention.

The competitions created a joyful and exciting atmosphere, providing a lot of useful and practical knowledge; helping students improve their awareness and self-protection skills, while spreading the message about the community's responsibility in caring for and protecting children.

At the end of the competition, the team from Bao Nhai Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities won the first prize; the second prize went to Coc Ly Secondary School No. 1; the third prize went to Coc Lau Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities and Nam Luc Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities. In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded two consolation prizes to the teams from Coc Ly Secondary School No. 2 and Ban Cai Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.

The contest is a useful playground for students, contributing to raising awareness of accident prevention and injury prevention, building a safe school environment.
