Quang Ninh focuses on promotion to achieve the goal of welcoming more than 21 million tourists.

To contribute to the GRDP growth target of 12.5% ​​according to the Government's Resolution and strive to achieve 14% as set by the province, in the remaining 2 months of 2025, Quang Ninh tourism industry needs to attract about 2.77 million visitors, total tourism revenue must reach 8,638 billion VND to complete the yearly target of welcoming 21.2 million visitors and total revenue of 58,000 billion VND.

To achieve this goal, since the beginning of October 2025, the province has launched a tourism stimulus campaign in the fourth quarter with many major events such as: The Ha Long Concert Art Program with the theme "Heritage Spirit, Bright Future" with the largest scale ever attracting 30,000 spectators; OCOP Autumn - Winter Fair; "Yen Tu Autumn" Festival in 2025; Vietnamese Cuisine Week and many stimulus programs in localities.

It is expected that in the remaining 2 months, Quang Ninh will organize many more major tourism stimulus programs such as: The first National Travel Festival; "Surfing Dragon Bay" Boat Racing Festival; Hot Air Balloon Festival; Ha Long Cruise Festival; International Puppetry Festival 2025; Yen Tu Heritage Run 2025 "Touching the Heritage Area"...

In particular, on the occasion of the 89th anniversary of the Mining Workers' Tradition Day - Coal Industry Tradition (November 12, 1936 - November 12, 2025), Quang Ninh will organize a large-scale exhibition, rally and art program "Concert 89 Years of Mining Region" expected to attract 30,000 spectators... This event contributes to attracting visitors during the peak season at the end of the year, creating a strong media effect to promote and spread the tourism brand of Quang Ninh - a four-season destination.

In November 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh coordinated with Baekseok Group (a multi-industry corporation, from culture, entertainment to international trade of Korea) to organize a series of events, cultural, sports and tourism activities under the Grand Slam project, including the Miss International Businesswoman Contest, a music program with the participation of many famous Korean artists, fashion shows, international marathons...

On this occasion, Quang Ninh has begun to welcome Chinese tourists by air and sea. From November 1, Van Don International Airport has officially operated a series of international charter flights connecting Bao An International Airport of Shenzhen City (China) with Van Don International Airport (Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam). The schedule takes off from Shenzhen at 18:10 and lands in Van Don at 20:10; the opposite direction departs from Van Don at 21:10 and arrives in Shenzhen at 0:00 (Vietnam time). The flight series is maintained periodically on Saturdays, Thursdays, Mondays with specific flight schedules... In particular, in the 2025 - 2026 cruise tourism season, Quang Ninh is expected to welcome 9 cruises from Beihai (China) - Ha Long. The first trip will arrive in the locality in November with 1,000 tourists. In the last months of 2025, Quang Ninh expects to welcome about 350,000 - 400,000 Chinese tourists, many groups with 1,000 - 2,000 tourists/group.

In the 10 months of 2025, Quang Ninh welcomed 18.43 million visitors, with total tourism revenue estimated at VND 48,362 billion, up 21% over 2024. In October alone, the province welcomed 1.32 million tourists, up 17% over the same period in 2024.
