Quang Ninh is about to start a series of traffic projects with a total capital of more than 10,000 billion VND.

Quang Ninh is preparing to start a series of traffic projects at the end of December, with a total investment of more than 10,500 billion VND.

Among these are new traffic projects, such as: Cua Luc Bay coastal road project extending from Tran Quoc Nghien (Bai Chay bridge foot) through Binh Minh bridge to Bang bridge (about 2,618 billion VND) and Cua Luc Bay Northwest coastal road project (about 2,860 billion VND).

On this occasion, Quang Ninh province also started upgrading and renovating a series of other key traffic routes to expand inter-regional and inter-provincial connections.

Including the project to renovate National Highway 4B, connecting Quang Ninh with Lang Son .

National Highway 4B from Lang Son province to Quang Ninh is about 102.9km long. Of which, the section in Quang Ninh province is 25.7km long, with the starting point at Km80+00 in Dien Xa commune (border between Lang Son province and Quang Ninh province) and the ending point at Km107+00 in Mui Chua Port area, Tien Yen commune, Quang Ninh province.

The current status of this route is a grade 4 mountainous road, with a roadbed width of 7.5m and a road surface width of 6.5m.

To facilitate traffic connection between areas in Quang Ninh province as well as with Lang Son province, Quang Ninh province invested in renovating and upgrading National Highway 4B from a level 4 mountainous road to a level 3 plain and hilly road, with a design speed of 80km/h.

The total investment capital of the project is 1,804.24 billion VND, from the budget, of which about 380 billion VND is for compensation and site clearance.

Along with that are the projects to upgrade National Highway 10, connecting Hai Phong with Quang Ninh; Song Chanh Bridge and Provincial Road 342...

Since the beginning of 2025, Quang Ninh has also started construction of many important traffic projects in mountainous, remote and isolated areas - where the terrain is still difficult and the need for connectivity is great.

These are the projects to renovate and upgrade provincial road 330 from the old Ba Che district to provincial road 342 (total investment capital of 990 billion VND); build provincial road 327 (580 billion VND); upgrade provincial road 345 connecting Bac Ninh (more than 350 billion VND)...
