The People's Committee of Quang Tri province has just issued a decision to assign tasks and allocate funds to support small and medium enterprises in Quang Tri province in 2025.
Accordingly, the total budget allocated for support is 1.03 billion VND, of which 380 million VND is spent on education, training and vocational training to support human resource development for small and medium enterprises; 650 million VND is spent on other economic activities such as consulting support, support for participation in industry clusters and value chains for small and medium enterprises.

In this decision, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien assigned the Department of Planning and Investment as the focal agency, advising and proposing to the Provincial People's Committee solutions to implement support for small and medium enterprises in the area. Based on the guidance of the Ministry of Planning and Investment , preside and coordinate with departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns, cities, associations in the province to implement support contents. Synthesize and propose necessary contents and funding to support small and medium enterprises in accordance with regulations.
Assign the Department of Finance to advise the Provincial People's Committee on budget allocation to implement tasks to support small and medium enterprises in 2025; guide relevant units on documents and procedures for payment and settlement. Balance the local budget to allocate to activities to support small and medium enterprises that have not been supported.
Assign the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; and the Department of Industry and Trade to monitor, inspect, and supervise progress based on their assigned functions and tasks to have effective solutions for direction and management to improve the competitiveness of enterprises.
It is known that in Quang Tri province, there are currently more than 3,000 small and medium enterprises operating, creating jobs for thousands of workers in the area.
