Quang Tri: Objective and comprehensive assessment of achievements as well as any shortcomings

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Van Phuong, Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, requested delegates to promote democracy, actively discuss and contribute many opinions, in order to objectively and comprehensively evaluate both the achieved results as well as shortcomings, limitations, and outstanding issues, focusing on direction and management; clearly identify the subjective causes of limitations and shortcomings, to see more clearly the responsibilities of collectives and individuals, thereby identifying the main tasks and solutions to continue leading, directing, and organizing the implementation of tasks in 2026, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere and development momentum right from the beginning of the term.

Assessing the results achieved by Quang Tri province in 2025, comrade Nguyen Van Phuong said that despite the difficulties and advantages intertwined and being heavily affected by natural disasters, Quang Tri has made efforts to achieve many important results in many fields. Many key projects have been accelerated, gradually removing "bottlenecks" in socio-economic infrastructure, creating momentum to promote socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security.

In the economic and social fields, in 2025, Quang Ti province's economic growth is expected to reach 8% according to the set target; it is estimated that for the whole year of 2025, it is expected to basically reach and exceed 17/17 main targets. Agriculture develops stably, industry maintains growth momentum, trade, services and tourism flourish. Investment attraction increases significantly, the investment environment is gradually improved; social security is guaranteed.

At the conference, delegates promoted their intelligence, focused on discussing and contributing ideas on the achieved results, proposed solutions for 2026 and the following years in the fields of green development, budget collection; improving the digital transformation index, education and training; operating two-level local governments, and soon realizing the resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels into life.
