In particular, the forces of warships, missile ships, frigates, transport ships, radars, artillery, armored tanks, shore missiles... are well trained, exploited effectively, creating a combined strength. The islands and island points in Truong Sa are increasingly solidly built in terms of military, political , logistics-technical positions, becoming "steel fortresses" to protect national sovereignty at sea...

One of the values ​​that generations of officers and soldiers of Naval Region 4 have built and nurtured is the close bond with the people, especially fishermen. The programs "Vietnam Navy as a support for fishermen to go out to sea and stick to the sea", "Navy sponsors fishermen's children", rescue activities, support for fishermen to go out to sea and stick to the sea, giving national flags, necessities, free medical examination and treatment... have spread the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers - Navy soldiers in the hearts of the people, contributing to building and firmly consolidating the "people's heart position".

In addition, the Region always thoroughly grasps and strictly implements the resolutions of the superior party organizations on proactively and actively integrating comprehensively and extensively into the international community, focusing on organizing exchange activities, joint patrols, and professional exchanges with navies of countries in the region, contributing to building trust, enhancing friendship and international cooperation, and maintaining a peaceful environment.

With outstanding achievements, Naval Region 4 together with 19 collectives and 7 individuals of the Region were honored to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and State and many other noble awards. This is a priceless spiritual asset, a source of pride and spiritual motivation for generations of cadres and soldiers to continue to promote and be determined to build the Region "revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern".

In the context of the new situation, the requirements of the tasks are increasingly high. To successfully complete all tasks, in the coming time, first of all, the Party Committee and Command of Naval Region 4 will continue to focus on leading and directing the building of a politically strong Region. Accordingly, 100% of officers and soldiers have strong political will, high determination, good sense of responsibility, and are ready to sacrifice to firmly protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland. 100% of agencies and units are absolutely safe politically. Every year, more than 99.5% of Party committees, Party organizations, Party members and officers complete their tasks or more, of which 90% or more complete their tasks well and excellently.

Along with that, the Region focuses on doing a good job of forecasting and accurately assessing the situation, promptly advising the Navy on solutions to protect sea and island sovereignty early and from afar; handling situations at sea with the right strategies, not being passive or surprised; firmly managing and protecting the sovereignty of the Truong Sa archipelago, assigned sea areas, security and safety of Cam Ranh military base. Continuing to adjust the organization and staffing in the direction of being lean, compact, strong, reasonable, with high mobility and combat readiness. Reducing the surplus number of troops in intermediate and service units, prioritizing ensuring enough troops, weapons, and technical means for combat readiness units stationed on islands, stations, and units managing and exploiting modern equipment and techniques, and combat ships.

The region continues to focus on improving the quality of training and combat readiness, implementing well the motto "basic, practical, solid", "taking the goal of firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland as the training goal". Every year, 100% of the training program content is completed; 100% of the tests meet the requirements, with more than 75% achieving good or excellent results; maintaining forces and means on duty for combat readiness according to regulations; strictly implementing patrol and guard regimes... Continue to make breakthroughs in building discipline, training discipline, striving to prevent violations of State law, serious discipline, and prevent insecurity due to subjective errors; the rate of common discipline violations is below 0.2%. 100% of agencies and units are safe, more than 75% are absolutely safe.
