Launching the Peak Day of Volunteering to Join Hands in Building New Rural Areas

To practically celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025), on March 23, the Standing Committee of the Town Youth Union organized the first "Volunteer Day to jointly build new rural areas" and "Green Sunday" campaign in 2025 as a provincial-level pilot program in Ha Loc commune and the Youth Union of Phu Tho College of Technology and Forestry, Phu Tho town.

The Phu Tho College of Technology and Forestry launched the "Peak Day of Volunteerism to Join Hands in Building New Rural Areas" and "Green Sunday" campaigns.

At the launch points, notable activities took place, including: planting trees and flowers along the roadside; renovating the "Mural Road" and "Youth Nursery" models; disseminating information, providing support and guidance on waste sorting and disposal at source; and raising public awareness about responding to climate change.

The town's Youth Union Standing Committee launched and established a waste collection club and a "Popular Education Club" in Ha Loc commune... At the same time, the Standing Committee directed the simultaneous operation of the "Peak Day of Volunteer Activities to Build New Rural Areas" and the first "Green Sunday" throughout the town.

Youth union members in Tan Son district launched a campaign to clean up, collect waste, and improve environmental hygiene.

On the same day, 100% of the Youth Union branches in rural areas throughout the province simultaneously launched activities for the "Volunteer Day to Build New Rural Areas" and "Green Sunday" campaigns.

Through these activities, the pioneering and volunteer spirit of the youth of the homeland has been promoted, contributing to building new rural areas, helping to build a more prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland and country, and further affirming the determination, sense of responsibility, and enthusiasm of the youth in building their homeland and country.
