Launching "Youth Month" and "March Border Month" program in Dak Lak province in 2024

On February 25, in Buon Don border district, Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Vietnam Youth Union of the province to organize the launching ceremony of "Youth Month" and the program "March Border Month" of Dak Lak province in 2024.

With the theme "Youth volunteers for community life", the program took place with many practical activities such as: Free medical examination and medicine for 300 people in Drang Phok village, Krong Na commune; awarding scholarships to 4 adopted children of border guards; awarding 15 bicycles to students who have overcome difficulties and excelled in their studies; awarding 2 start-up capitals to young people; starting construction of 1 Charity House, 1 Toilet for children. In addition, the program's Organizing Committee presented 20 maps of "Proud of a strip of mountains and rivers" to Yok Don National Park, Yok Don Border Guard Station, Bo Heng Border Guard Station, Serepok Border Guard Station; visiting and giving gifts to families of soldiers on duty at the border; launching the Youth Volunteer Team to transform digitally and ensure traffic safety; supporting resources to implement the project "Uncle Ho's Monument with Border Guard Soldiers"...

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Y Le Pas Tor - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Dak Lak province said: In 2024, the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union at all levels will take place, leading up to the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024 - 2029. With the theme "Year of Youth Volunteers", from the beginning of the year, young people in the province have carried out many practical programs and activities in difficult and border areas, helping thousands of households and children enjoy the Spring and Tet holiday. Continuing the spirit of the beginning of the new year, Youth Month 2024 is an opportunity for all levels of the Youth Union to promote the work of building the Youth Union, actively participate in Party building; continue to promote revolutionary action movements, activities joining hands for the community, repaying gratitude, remembering the source of drinking water; participating in local economic development programs.

In celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Border Guard's Traditional Day (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2024) and the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024), the Standing Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union mobilized Youth Union cadres, members, and children to continue studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style through specific actions and deeds; forming and promoting the awareness of self-education and training to inherit and successfully build a generation of patriotic youth with revolutionary ideals, knowledge, a beautiful lifestyle, good health, and an industrialized and modernized style.
