National colors at the 9th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union

Of the 980 delegates, 371 were female (37.9%), 609 were male (62.1%), and 718 were party members. The delegates attending the congress represented all 54 ethnic groups, of which 196 were ethnic minorities (20%).

The Vietnam Youth Union Congress has the slogan of action "Vietnamese Youth, Patriotic - Aspirational - Solidarity - Pioneering - Creative, Confidently entering the new era".

The Congress has the task of evaluating the results of the Association's work and the youth movement for the 2019-2024 term, setting goals, determining tasks and solutions for the Association's work and the youth movement for the 2024-2029 term and consulting to elect the Central Committee and Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, term IX.
