On September 10, NKG officially launched the GK eBooks electronic textbook technology solution, marking a breakthrough in the digital transformation process of education in Vietnam.
In the digital and AI era, education is evolving towards a new approach, placing students at the center of innovation. In this digital transformation, e-textbooks are seen as one of the key steps in the education sector.
GK eBooks is not just a digitized version of paper books, but a core part of a comprehensive digital education platform, integrating AI, VR, AR technology and interactive 3D learning materials, providing a smart learning experience for students, teachers, parents and schools.
GK eBooks' standout features include providing comprehensive solutions and intelligent tools for educational institutions, publishers, and parents and students alike.
The GK eBooks electronic textbook solution offers independent and tightly controlled feature modules to serve diverse needs in the publishing, use of books, and assessment of learning outcomes.
The digital textbook creation studio allows for intuitive design and editing of layouts, text, images, videos , and audio to suit the content. It incorporates interactive learning elements: integrating 3D, AR, and VR learning materials, multiple-choice questions, exercises, and quizzes directly into the book, and creating a book structure organized by chapter, lesson, and section; making arrangement and editing easy.
Parents and high school students can now use GK eBooks electronic textbooks for free on their existing tablets (such as iPads) with the Education Publishing House's book series that is being jointly tested on the GK eBooks technology platform.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, General Director of NKG, shared that GK Ebooks aims to provide students with a smart companion, supporting them in accessing knowledge in an easier, more intuitive, and enjoyable way. At the same time, it helps parents have a tool to monitor and support their children's learning process.
GK Ebooks is more than just a digital book; it's a modern learning platform. Each student has a personal AI assistant to help them practice, complete assignments, and develop their skills. Lessons incorporate 3D images, AR/VR virtual experiments, and illustrative videos, making learning dynamic and easy to understand. Teachers and schools have tools to manage, evaluate, and personalize the learning process for each student.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Ton Quang Cuong, Head of the Faculty of Educational Technology, University of Education - Vietnam National University , Hanoi , stated that electronic textbooks will create a breakthrough with their ability to be integrated into a smart platform and system.
In an era where the need for learning is becoming increasingly essential, and where individualization and self-direction are becoming more and more evident, this solution is a synergy between education and the application of modern technology. It will also completely change the way people approach textbook development, providing a foundation of enthusiasm and confidence for creating a new generation of textbooks.
According to Dr. Pham Quang Hung, Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Information, the technology used in this electronic textbook series, especially the application of artificial intelligence (AI), not only helps improve the capacity and quality of learners but also helps teachers conveniently monitor the learning process of students, so that they can make appropriate adjustments.

“The Ministry of Education and Training will soon issue a strategy for applying artificial intelligence, which includes content related to building a database so that students can access accurate and complete data. Therefore, accessing official textbook sources to apply to electronic textbooks is very appropriate. This will be a first step in the digital transformation of education. Although the digital transformation in education is still a long way off, I hope that businesses, teachers, and experts will work together with the Ministry of Education and Training to provide a direction that aligns with global trends and scientific advancements to apply to education,” said Mr. Pham Quang Hung.
From a different perspective, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Ai Viet, Director of the Institute of Technology and Education of New Generative Intelligence, argues that traditional education will no longer be effective, and education must be technology-based. Technology changes daily, so we should also design education with an open approach to welcome new technologies.
