Receiving a pass to the far post from his teammate, the U.23 Vietnam player quietly ran up and unleashed a very strong and precise shot into the top corner, causing Xuan Hoang to fly all the way but still not be able to touch the ball.

After this goal, the initiative of the match completely belonged to the home team, with a series of attacks, continuously launching shots. In the 67th minute, another U.23 Vietnam player, Anh Quan, raised the score to 2-1 for PVF-CAND, also the first goal of this defender in V-League.

But once again, the losing team's effort to score created a turning point for the match. After a series of dribbles straight into the PVF-CAND defense, the ball reached Ngoc My and he made an assist for center-back Van Loi to stop and volley home the equalizer 2-2 in the 78th minute.

In the remaining minutes, both teams had chances to score but the defenses of both sides defended well, setting the score at 2-2, leaving PVD-CAND Club and Thanh Hoa Club regretful about a victory that was very close but could not successfully end the curse.
