After a series of hot days, Ho Chi Minh City will have thunderstorms this week.

On the afternoon of April 15, the Southern Hydrometeorological Station provided information on the weather in Ho Chi Minh City in the next 10 days.

According to the meteorological agency, in the coming days, the weather in Ho Chi Minh City will have little rain, hot sun, and humidity in the afternoon will drop to its lowest level, only 30 - 40%, making the weather dry and hot.

Particularly from April 17 to 20 in the afternoon, there will be local thunderstorms. Beware of tornadoes and lightning during thunderstorms.

During April 14-24, the hot low pressure area in the West continues to develop and expand to the southeast. The low pressure trough with an axis of 24-26 degrees north latitude connects with the hot low pressure area in the West and gradually becomes stronger, around April 20-21, the axis passes through the North.

The Southern Hydrometeorological Station informed that from April 17 to 20, in the afternoon, some places in Ho Chi Minh City will have thunderstorms.

Above, the subtropical high pressure over the Central and South Central regions is active. From about April 16-17, the axis gradually moves southward and weakens in intensity, while the easterly wind disturbance tends to develop better. Over the sea area east of the South, the easterly to southeasterly wind operates with medium to weak intensity.

The weather in Ho Chi Minh City on the morning and afternoon of April 15 is still sunny and hot, with few clouds. Temperatures range from 36 degrees Celsius to 37 degrees Celsius, relative humidity 50-61%, and average cloud density 15-24%.
