According to the plan, the Wyndham Costa Ha Tinh High-end Sea Resort Project will invest in building a commercial area for rent (shoptel), services combining accommodation, tourism and relaxation; a tourist hotel area with high-end resort apartments; a resort villa area; a comprehensive commercial and service area providing entertainment and recreation services; a restaurant area, coffee shop, health care and beauty services; green parks, parking lots and synchronous technical infrastructure.

Previously, on March 24, 2022, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province approved the investment policy and accepted Onsen Fuji Group Joint Stock Company as the investor to implement the Wyndham Costa Ha Tinh high-end beach resort project with a total investment of over 952 billion VND.

The project covers an area of 66.15 hectares, with a project implementation schedule of 3 years from the date of investment approval. The project's operating period is 50 years.

In terms of scale, the investor will build a tourist hotel complex, high-end resort apartments managed by Wyndham Hotel Group (USA) with about 1,000 rooms and commercial service areas providing attractive entertainment services; restaurants; bars; coffee shops; health care services; comprehensive therapy, beauty and body cleansing services with the capacity to serve 2,000 guests/day.

The project involves investing in the construction of a shoptel complex, combining accommodation and resort tourism services with approximately 500 units; a green park, parking lots, and a comprehensive technical infrastructure system capable of serving about 1,000 guests per day.

Investing in the construction of a high-end tourist villa area with more than 300 villas; building a shoptel area, a service area combining accommodation and resort tourism with about 200 lots; building commercial service areas providing entertainment, recreation, restaurants, coffee shops, spas; green parks, parking lots and a synchronous technical infrastructure system...

The project aims to maximize the potential of the land and the advantages of coastal tourism, contributing to the promotion of tourism development while improving the living conditions of the local population.

The project will connect with existing tourist areas such as Quynh Vien tourist area, Thach Hai beach tourist area (Thach Ha) and Thien Cam tourist area (Cam Xuyen)...

The Wyndham Costa Ha Tinh high-end beach resort project is located in Thach Van and Thach Tri communes, adjacent to the Thach Khe iron ore mining and processing project area. Specifically, the Thach Khe iron mine project is situated in the communes of Thach Hai, Thach Tri, Thach Khe, Dinh Ban, and Thach Lac.

For many years, Ha Tinh province has requested the Government to decide to stop the exploitation of the Thach Khe iron mine so that the locality can develop socio-economic activities in the communes affected by the project, which has been stalled for many years (exploitation has been suspended since 2011), including developing its coastal tourism potential.

This province also plans to expand Ha Tinh city to the East in the period of 2023 - 2025 by merging the entire natural area and population of 11 communes of Thach Ha district including: Dinh Ban, Thach Hai, Thach Hoi, Thach Khe, Thach Lac, Thach Thang, Thach Tri, Thach Van, Tuong Son, Tan Lam Huong, Thach Dai and 1 commune Ho Do of Loc Ha district.
