On July 22nd, Da Nang Vocational College and Da Nang Tourism College held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement with Avestos Group (Federal Republic of Germany) and Devis JSC to support training and send students to work in Germany after graduation.
Mr. Nguyen Dac Hoan, Director of Devis JSC, said that due to a severe labor shortage, Germany has approved the Immigration Labor Act.
According to this law, citizens of third countries (non-EU) can enter Germany to study, work, and settle.
Specifically, Germany and Vietnam cooperate in key areas including vocational training abroad, energy, and the environment. In the field of vocational training abroad, Germany supports Vietnam in training 22 professions according to German standards and training models, implemented at 45 schools that have been assessed and approved by Germany and the General Department of Vocational Training.

Representatives from Da Nang Vocational College signed a cooperation agreement with Avestos Group (Federal Republic of Germany) and Devis JSC.
“In Da Nang City, Da Nang Tourism College meets the standards to participate in the culinary arts training program. As for Da Nang Vocational College, although it is not a beneficiary of the aforementioned project, with its existing strengths, the school has decided to train students according to the German model and standards. This will enable the training of students with high-level skills, equivalent to those in Germany, for the two vocational groups of metal cutting and mechanics,” Mr. Hoan informed.
According to the agreement, students who graduate from the aforementioned vocational fields and wish to work in Germany must undergo an assessment and recognition of their qualifications/degrees.
Upon successful completion, candidates will receive a certificate issued by the German Institute of Small and Medium Industries (HWK) and the Avestos Group. With this certificate, along with a minimum A2 level German language proficiency, candidates can work in Germany, earning a salary according to German labor law, starting from 2,100 euros per month (approximately 60 million VND), and potentially obtaining permanent residency.

Students majoring in culinary arts at Da Nang Tourism College have the opportunity to work in Germany with attractive salaries.
“Devis Joint Stock Company will be responsible for providing career counseling, German language training, organizing German language exams, handling all visa-related procedures, meeting exit requirements for eligible students, and working with German partners to support candidates during their time working and living in Germany,” Mr. Hoan emphasized.
