The Hanoi University of Education's fund for supporting students in disadvantaged areas has provided assistance to 16 students, with each receiving 1.5 million VND per month.
On the evening of January 9th, Hanoi Pedagogical University organized the "Green Journey" fundraising program to support students from disadvantaged areas of the university.
The Hanoi University of Education's Fund for Supporting Students in Disadvantaged Areas was established at the initiative of Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Minh – former Rector of the university; aiming to carry out activities to promote learning and talent, award prizes to motivate and encourage students to overcome difficulties and develop their abilities in their studies and training.

The fund was launched on January 12, 2024, and received sponsorship from many businesses, organizations, and individuals.
In its first year, the Support Fund awarded 16 meaningful scholarships to students, including 6 students from the K70 cohort, and the rest from the 71st, 72nd, and 73rd cohorts.
Of the six students from cohort K70 who received support from the university's support fund, four have graduated and now have stable jobs locally.
Speaking at the program, Professor Nguyen Van Minh shared that those who support the fund are people with noble hearts, people who entrust their good faith to others. The students who receive support from the fund are not receiving it for themselves alone, but are receiving a gift, a responsibility of affection, trust, and gratitude to continue spreading it to make this world a better place.

Professor Nguyen Van Minh emphasized that this fund embodies gratitude, spreading thankfulness, love, and aspirations for a better future, especially for those in difficult circumstances and those facing hardship; it honors the values of dedication and sacrifice in meaningful work.
Students who receive support from this fund are people to be proud of because, despite facing difficulties, they are willing to venture into challenging situations for the greater good of future generations.
Professor Nguyen Van Minh expressed his gratitude, admiration, and appreciation to the agencies, units, and individuals who have supported the fund's good and progressive ideas; he also hoped that the students receiving support would be proud of their work, aware of their responsibilities, and strive even harder in their studies and work to live up to the trust placed in them.

During the ceremony, Hanoi Pedagogical University announced that its fund for supporting students in disadvantaged areas had received 550 million VND.
