Hanoi Pedagogical Students Receive Support from the Fund to Accompany Students in Difficult Areas

The fund to support students in difficult areas of Hanoi National University of Education has provided support to 16 students, each receiving 1.5 million VND/month.

On the evening of January 9, Hanoi National University of Education organized the Green Journey program to raise funds to accompany students in disadvantaged areas of the school.

The Fund to accompany students in difficult areas of Hanoi National University of Education was established from the initiative of Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Minh - former Principal of the school; to carry out activities to encourage learning, encourage talents, and award prizes to motivate and encourage students to overcome difficulties and promote their own abilities in studying and training.

The fund was launched on January 12, 2024, receiving sponsorship from many businesses, organizations and individuals.

In the first year of its establishment, the Companion Fund awarded 16 meaningful scholarships to students, of which 6 students from K70 received support, the rest were students from courses 71, 72, and 73.

Among the 6 K70 students who received support from the school's Companion Fund, 4 have graduated and currently have stable jobs locally.

Speaking at the program, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Minh shared that the fund's companions are people with noble hearts, people who entrust good beliefs. The students who receive support from the fund do not receive it for themselves, but they receive the trust, the responsibility of love, of belief, of gratitude to continue spreading it to make this life better.

Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Minh emphasized that this fund carries the meaning of gratitude to spread gratitude, love and aspiration for good things for the future, for places and lives with many difficulties; honoring the values ​​of dedication and sacrifice to do meaningful work.

Students who receive support from this fund are proud people because they are in difficult circumstances but are willing to go through difficulties for the good of future generations.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Minh expressed his gratitude, admiration and respect to the agencies, units and individuals who have accompanied the good and progressive ideas of the fund; at the same time, he hoped that the students who received support would be proud of their work, aware of their duties and make more efforts in studying and working to be worthy of the trust given.
