The Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Ninh Province and the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region signed a memorandum of understanding on promoting cooperation in the manufacturing industry.

On February 19, in Hanoi, within the framework of the meeting between Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien (Vietnam) and Secretary of the Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China), the Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Ninh province and the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region signed a Memorandum of Understanding on promoting cooperation in the manufacturing sector.

According to the signed Memorandum of Understanding, the two sides will jointly implement the following contents: Sharing and exchanging information on legal policies, planning, orientations for developing infrastructure of industrial parks, industrial clusters and orientations for attracting investment in the industries of the two provinces/regions; on the basis of the unique advantages of the two localities, the two sides will cooperate, research and propose solutions and orientations to build production linkage chains; promote cooperation in industrial production fields according to the orientations of the two Governments ; exchange and share information on training courses to support officials and experts in managing and developing industries and vocational training for workers in industries, especially industries in which the two provinces/regions have strengths; share solutions and models for management and sustainable development of industrial production of the two provinces/regions; Support cooperation in developing industrial zones, coordinate implementation of promotion solutions in the fields of investment, industry and trade in a sustainable, balanced and mutually beneficial direction.

The signed agreement on trade development cooperation between the Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Ninh (Vietnam) and the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) will create conditions for businesses of both sides to learn information, implement cooperation in the manufacturing industry, ensuring safe and stable development in the new situation. Thereby, contributing to effectively implementing the joint communiqué on further strengthening and deepening the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China.
