The Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Ninh Province and the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region signed a memorandum of understanding on promoting cooperation in the manufacturing industry.

On February 19th, in Hanoi, within the framework of the talks between the Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien (Vietnam) and the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China), the Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Ninh province and the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region signed a Memorandum of Understanding on promoting cooperation in the manufacturing sector.

According to the signed Memorandum of Understanding, the two sides will jointly implement the following: Sharing and exchanging information on policies, laws, planning, and development orientations for industrial parks and clusters, as well as investment attraction orientations for industries in both provinces/regions; based on the unique advantages of both localities, the two sides will cooperate, research, and propose solutions and orientations to build production linkage chains; promoting cooperation in industrial production sectors in accordance with the orientations of the two governments ; exchanging and sharing information on training courses to support officials and experts in managing and developing industries and providing vocational training for workers in industries, especially those in which both provinces/regions have strengths; sharing solutions and models for sustainable industrial production management and development in both provinces/regions. We support cooperation in developing industrial zones and coordinating the implementation of solutions to promote investment, industry, and trade in a sustainable, balanced, and mutually beneficial manner.

The cooperation agreement on trade development between the Quang Ninh Department of Industry and Trade (Vietnam) and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Department of Commerce (China) will facilitate information exchange and cooperation between businesses of both sides in the manufacturing sector, ensuring safe and stable development in the new situation. This will contribute to the effective implementation of the joint communiqué on further strengthening and deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and China.
