On June 26th, in Dong Trieu town, the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee held a conference to review the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement during the first six months of the year, and to implement tasks for the last six months of 2023.
In the first six months of 2023, volunteer movements for social welfare, environmental protection, participation in building new rural areas, building civilized urban areas, and activities celebrating the Youth Union Congress at all levels were effectively responded to and implemented by Youth Union branches throughout the province; proactively registering and undertaking projects and tasks to celebrate the 92nd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the 60th anniversary of the founding of the province…
The implementation of the year's work theme was creatively directed by all levels of the Youth Union, creating a positive social impact; demonstrating creativity, new approaches, and effective methods in caring for and supporting Youth Union members and young people, exemplified by programs such as "Youth with the Springtime at the Border," "Sharing Tet - Loving Tet," and movements like "Paying Gratitude" and "Remembering Our Roots"...
Nearly 87,000 cadres and union members received training and were briefed on the conclusions of the Central Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, the resolutions of the Party, and the policies and laws of the State; 13 youth startup projects were supported and implemented, and career counseling and guidance were provided to over 27,000 young people. Over 83,000 youth union members accessed activities to enhance their digital skills. Over 15,000 new union members were admitted; nearly 700 outstanding union members were admitted to the Party...
Activities during Youth Month 2023 and the Summer Campaign 2023 were implemented extensively, attracting the active participation of a large number of officials, union members, and young people. The implementation of peak days during Youth Month achieved high results.
At the conference, delegates discussed and contributed many ideas to improve the quality of Youth Union work and youth movements in Quang Ninh province.
In the last six months of the year, all levels of the Youth Union throughout the province will continue to promote the study of political theory and the education of ethics and lifestyle among young people, linked to "building and developing the culture and people of Quang Ninh to meet the requirements of sustainable development." In particular, they will effectively implement the special emulation campaign "Youth's Aspiration to Build a Model, Prosperous, Beautiful, Civilized, and Modern Quang Ninh Province" to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of Quang Ninh Province (October 30, 1963 - October 30, 2023), along with key projects, programs, and campaigns such as: the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign; the Quang Ninh Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Student Association; the Quang Ninh Provincial Congress of Good Children of Uncle Ho; and activities concretizing the theme of the year's work "Digital transformation of Youth Union activities, caring for and accompanying Youth Union members and young people"... At the same time, they will continue to improve the quality of grassroots Youth Union organizations, and train and cultivate skills and expertise for Youth Union officials. Emphasis is placed on applying information technology and digital transformation in the leadership, management, and activities of the Youth Union.
