Bac Ninh Department of Information and Communications continues to promote digital transformation, maintaining its top position

(CLO) On the afternoon of January 3rd, at the Conference summarizing the work of 2024 and implementing tasks for 2025, the Department of Information and Communications of Bac Ninh province identified 5 breakthrough solutions to further promote digital transformation, maintain its top position, and create momentum for the development of the locality.

In 2025, the Department of Information and Communications of Bac Ninh province will focus on building and developing the e-government and digital government platform; ensuring information security and cybersecurity; and maintaining its position among the leading localities nationwide in the digital transformation index and ICT index. The department will strengthen training and improve the quality of information technology human resources in state agencies; and ensure the resources for implementing digital transformation tasks.

In addition, the sector is vigorously implementing tasks and solutions on administrative reform, linking it with strengthening decentralization and delegation in the implementation of tasks; extensively disseminating information about the Party Congress at all levels and important events serving the socio -economic development tasks in the locality, focusing on publicizing outstanding achievements during the term. It is also promoting digital transformation in the operations of the province's press and media agencies.

The sector is also striving to improve policies aimed at developing a synchronous and modern postal and telecommunications infrastructure to meet the needs of social development. It is strengthening state management and promoting digital transformation in the operations of postal and telecommunications enterprises in the province.

Attending and speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Loi acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the province's Information and Communications sector, which have made positive contributions to the overall development of the province.

The comrade suggested that the Information and Communications sector continue to vigorously implement the revolution to streamline the organizational structure, improve operational efficiency, and ensure rapid adaptation to modern governance trends. He also called for extensive dissemination of information about the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, leading up to the 14th National Party Congress, and other important events; accurate, timely, and comprehensive reporting on political and social activities and socio-economic development; focused efforts on combating and refuting misinformation, false information, and distortions; and strict handling of violations.

Furthermore, the sector needs to maintain and improve the achieved indicators, especially in the field of digital transformation; play a pioneering role and create momentum for other units in the province. This will help maintain its position in the top rankings of the province's digital transformation index, driving improvements in other provincial indicators; advise on policies to encourage businesses to invest in digital infrastructure development; and expand 5G coverage throughout the province…
