(NLDO) - The police identified the driver as Mr. NQT, born in 1977, residing in Chi Lang ward, Pleiku city.
On the afternoon of March 23, the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Gia Lai Provincial Police was investigating an accident that left three people injured. Initial checks by the police determined that the driver had a high blood alcohol level while driving.
The five-seater car was completely crushed after the accident.
At noon on the same day, a 5-seater car with license plate 34LD-0027, traveling on National Highway 14 from Dak Lak province to Gia Lai province, had a self-inflicted accident in Chi Lang ward, Pleiku city, Gia Lai province, injuring 3 people, 2 of whom were thrown out of the vehicle.
During the investigation, the police identified the driver as Mr. NQT (born in 1977, residing in Chi Lang Ward, Pleiku City). After the accident, Mr. NQT only sustained minor injuries. While being questioned at the police station, he appeared intoxicated and was unable to present a driver's license.
The alcohol test results showed that Mr. NQT had a very high alcohol concentration of 1,187 mg/l of breath.

According to initial investigations, at noon on the same day, Mr. NQT was driving a 5-seater car with license plate 34LD-0027, carrying three other men residing in Pleiku City. Upon reaching Group 2, Chi Lang Ward, Pleiku City, the car, traveling at high speed, crashed into a traffic signpost and a roadside tree before overturning several times. The incident resulted in three people being injured and hospitalized, while the driver sustained only minor injuries.
According to one of the victims, that morning the group had borrowed a friend's car and gone to a friend's house for a drinking session. Unfortunately, the accident occurred on their way back.
