The Hanoi Autumn Festival 2024 is organized to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi (October 10th), while also promoting the beauty, cultural and historical values, and tourism of Hanoi, highlighting its unique and attractive features, and honoring its scenic spots, historical sites, and heritage – making it an attractive, high-quality, and safe tourist destination.
The Hanoi Autumn Festival 2024, themed “Hanoi Autumn – A Historical Autumn,” is directed by the Hanoi People's Committee and organized by the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion. It is expected to take place from September 12th to 15th in the pedestrian area around Hoan Kiem Lake and several tourist destinations in Hanoi.
However, due to the complicated flood situation in the North, including Hanoi, the Organizing Committee has decided to postpone the activities to September 19-22, at the Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian area.
