Strengthening coordination in propaganda and distribution of Party newspapers to the grassroots

The working session focused on discussing solutions to strengthen propaganda and publishing of Party newspapers, to spread the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws, contributing to promoting the socio- economic development of Lam Dong province.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Vu Ngoc Tu said: Currently, Lam Dong Newspaper, Radio and Television is in charge of 4 types of journalism including radio, television, print newspapers, and electronic newspapers; at the same time, strongly developing on digital infrastructure and social networks such as: YouTube, Fanpage, TikTok... Digital transformation of journalism helps increase the ability to interact with all audiences, contributing to spreading the image of the land, people and development potential of Lam Dong.

Currently, many communes and wards have not promptly ordered Party newspapers according to regulations, leading to low circulation. Comrade Vu Ngoc Tu requested that commune leaders pay attention to directing and reviewing the distribution of Party newspapers, and regularly coordinate with Lam Dong Newspaper and Radio and Television to effectively implement propaganda programs, ensuring that official information of the Party and State is widely disseminated to the grassroots.

At the conference, the commune leaders expressed their consensus and commitment to implementing the agreed contents. In the coming time, the communes will review the newspaper subscription plan according to the budget estimate, register with the Department of Finance to incorporate it into the budget estimate from the beginning of the year, ensuring proactiveness.

Comrade Vu Ngoc Tu proposed that localities need to develop long-term propaganda plans, focusing on resolutions, key projects and specific strengths of each locality.

Besides, it is necessary to proactively mobilize funding from the budget, programs and projects to sign communication cooperation agreements according to clear and transparent financial mechanisms.
