Lam Dong Provincial People's Council opens its special session.

On the morning of October 27th, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council held its 4th session - a specialized session - to consider and decide on many important issues within its authority.

The Vice Chairmen of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council presided over the 4th session.

The thematic session was chaired by Comrade K' Mák, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and the Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council: Tiêu Hồng Phúc, Nguyễn Thị Thuận Bích, Đa Cát Vinh, and Mai Thị Xuân Trung.

Comrades Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Luu Van Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, attended the session.

Attending the session were: Comrade Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Comrade Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Comrade Bui Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Luu Van Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of departments and agencies; and 112 delegates of the Provincial People's Council.

Comrades Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province (on the right); and Ton Thien Dong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, attended the session.

The 4th session - a special session of the Provincial People's Council - proceeded to consider the dismissal and election of additional members of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, aiming to strengthen the leadership apparatus of the Provincial People's Committee and meet the requirements of the tasks in the new situation.

Comrades Bui Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee (on the left); and Nguyen Hong Hai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, attended the session.

To ensure the province's effective management of issues arising between the two sessions, the Provincial People's Council considered and decided on important matters such as: approving the supplementary budget for local revenue and expenditure in 2025 for targeted central government supplementary budgets; providing financial support to the Provincial Police for the project to install surveillance cameras at police stations in communes, wards, special zones, and police posts in Lam Dong province; and halting the investment plan for the construction of the old Phan Thiet airport - civil aviation component under the BOT model.

K' Mák, Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council, delivered the opening speech at the session.

The session also considered and issued the List of land plots for bidding to select investors (phase 2); stipulated the expenditure levels for official travel and conferences at agencies and units; supplemented the price list of some types of land applicable until the end of 2025; and stipulated the level of support for overcoming animal disease outbreaks in the province.

Provincial People's Council delegates vote to approve the draft Resolution to be submitted to the Session.

At the session, provincial People's Council delegates considered and approved resolutions stipulating the authority to approve tasks and budget estimates for the procurement, repair, and upgrading of assets and equipment of agencies and units; regulations on remuneration for volunteer social work teams, support for the activities of the People's Inspection Committee at the grassroots level, allowances for village team leaders, and daily allowances for militia members when performing duties; policies and regimes for those working outside the staffing quota at associations assigned by the Party and State, affected by the implementation of administrative organizational restructuring according to Conclusion No. 183-KL/TW of the Politburo and the Secretariat; and considered and approved the plan for organization, training, operation, and ensuring regimes and policies for the militia and self-defense forces for the period 2026-2030 and subsequent years.
