Inaugurated on October 20th, the final session of the 15th National Assembly officially concluded with a solemn closing ceremony on December 11th, 2025.
The session set several impressive records. Firstly, it was the longest session in history: 40 days. Secondly, it accomplished the largest volume of work in the history of National Assembly sessions: passing 51 laws and 39 resolutions, including 8 normative legal resolutions.
The draft laws cover most key areas, many new and constantly changing issues; they promptly institutionalize the Party's new policies and resolutions, focusing on removing institutional bottlenecks.
Among the laws passed, many were decided to be approved through an expedited procedure in a single session.
In cases where laws cannot be amended in time, the National Assembly passes special resolutions to remove bottlenecks and obstacles, allowing localities to implement them immediately without having to wait until the next term and missing out on development opportunities.
With record-breaking time and workload, during eight weeks of continuous, highly focused work, the National Assembly's Council , committees, agencies, delegations, and individual members of the National Assembly worked tirelessly with the highest determination and responsibility to complete the agenda items of this "final" session on schedule and with the highest quality.
The final session also concludes an impressive journey of the 15th National Assembly, marked by historic decisions and groundbreaking legislative thinking.
