In 2025, Nhon Trach will be one of the localities with the largest total public investment capital in the province.
Nearly 1 trillion VND will be disbursed by the end of June
In 2025, the total public investment capital assigned by the Provincial People's Committee as the planned target for projects in Nhon Trach district is more than 2.3 trillion VND. Of which, for site clearance alone, the allocated capital is more than 2.1 trillion VND.
Vice Chairman of Nhon Trach District People's Committee Nguyen Huu Thanh said that most of the capital allocated for site clearance is focused on several major projects such as: Nhon Trach District Inter-Port Road; Road to Ong Keo Industrial Park; Upgrading and Construction Project of Provincial Roads 25B and 25C.
For the Nhon Trach District Inter-Port Road Project, in 2025, the total capital allocated for the project is about 1.5 trillion VND, of which the central budget capital allocated for construction and installation is about 1.4 trillion VND and about 100 billion VND from the provincial budget allocated for site clearance. Currently, Nhon Trach District has completed the approval of the compensation and support plan and is expected to complete the disbursement of site clearance capital by the end of June 2025.
Meanwhile, for the Ong Keo Industrial Park Road Project, the total capital allocated in 2025 is 500 billion VND. It is expected that by the end of June, Nhon Trach district will disburse an additional 40 billion VND for site clearance. Thereby, the capital disbursement rate for the project for site clearance work will increase to about 240 billion VND.
For the Provincial Road 25C Construction Project (section from National Highway 51 to Rural Road 19), the total capital allocated for site clearance in 2025 is 260 billion VND. Nhon Trach District plans to disburse about 127 billion VND of the capital allocated for site clearance in this project by the end of June 2025.
According to Mr. Nguyen Huu Thanh, regarding the provincial budget allocated for site clearance of projects in the district, it is expected that by the end of June 2025, the locality will complete the disbursement of more than 960 billion VND.
Nhon Trach District People's Committee proposed that the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board promptly complete the dossier to adjust the route of the 500m section of the Provincial Road Construction Project 25C (from National Highway 51 to Provincial Road 19) so that the locality can carry out procedures and disburse more than 100 billion VND in capital to arrange for site clearance for this project.

Among the projects to be implemented in 2025 in Nhon Trach district, the Nhon Trach District Inter-Port Road Project is one of the projects with large capital allocation.

However, of the total capital of about 1.5 trillion VND allocated for the project, 1.4 trillion VND is allocated from the central budget for construction and installation. Currently, the project is only carrying out bidding to select construction contractors. Therefore, the risk of not being able to fully disburse the capital allocated for construction and installation at the project in 2025 is very high.
To resolve this problem as well as speed up the project's site clearance, the Provincial People's Committee has proposed the Ministry of Finance to synthesize and report to the Prime Minister for approval of the detailed capital use policy in 2025 and to disburse central budget capital to support the entire project according to the implementation progress, including compensation costs for site clearance of the project. Thereby, speeding up the project's implementation progress and disbursing to complete the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 for the central budget capital allocated for the project.
According to the Nhon Trach District Project Management Board, if the Government approves the policy of using the central budget allocated for the project to pay for site clearance, it is expected that by the end of June, the disbursed capital for this project will reach about 36% of the 2025 capital plan.
