Speed up progress of key projects
To remove bottlenecks and create momentum to attract investment for production and business development, Lam Dong province is focusing on reviewing, adjusting, and resolving overlaps in specialized technical plans, ensuring consistency between provincial, regional, and national plans; and developing urban and rural plans, as well as land use plans, in a synchronized and timely manner.

Based on the master plan, Lam Dong province is mobilizing all resources to accelerate the progress of key projects, especially inter-regional expressway projects, infrastructure investment projects for industrial zones and clusters; upgrading Lien Khuong International Airport, and preparing for the commencement of Phan Thiet Airport; developing a synchronous, modern, and climate-resilient interconnected infrastructure. This includes focusing on investing in and enhancing the exploitation of underground power lines, service cables, and multi-functional urban spaces; attracting investment to build a complete and large-scale economic and technical infrastructure, digital infrastructure, while prioritizing the protection of natural resources and encouraging the use of environmentally friendly materials.
In addition, focus resources on building green infrastructure, green buildings, green energy consumption; develop a green, clean, beautiful, high-quality, reasonably priced public passenger transport system, connecting airports, seaports, passenger stations, urban areas, economic and social centers in the province.
The whole province is implementing compensation, site clearance, and resettlement work to serve the High-speed Railway project passing through the province. At the same time, urgently completing documents and techniques to start construction of infrastructure investment projects for resettlement areas, serving the construction of expressways in the province...
GRDP growth of 10-10.5%
On the basis of a complete infrastructure, it will create conditions for breakthroughs in economic development sectors in the area, striving to achieve the province's growth target of 10 - 10.5% in 2026. The economic structure includes: agriculture, forestry and fishery (37.35%), services (36.29%), industry and construction (21.49%). In particular, developing agricultural economy applying science - technology, innovation and digital transformation to create breakthroughs in productivity, quality, efficiency and high competitiveness, focusing on key products such as vegetables, flowers, coffee, pepper, durian, avocado, passion fruit, dragon fruit, grapes. In particular, promoting the strengths and potential of exploiting, farming and processing seafood, building Phu Quy island into a center for exploiting, processing and providing fisheries services in the country as well as in the region.

By 2026, Lam Dong province aims to establish and expand a global network of agricultural and aquatic product value chains. Specifically, the focus will be on deep processing linked to consumer markets, reaching 950,000 tons of green coffee beans and 650,000 tons of fresh dragon fruit. Priority will be given to investing in high-tech freezing and drying plants for durian and avocado products. In addition, the province will develop the processing industry for export-oriented aquatic products such as shrimp, catfish, tuna, seaweed, and various cold-water fish. In the mining and processing industry, the target is to produce 6-10 million tons of alumina annually (Lam Dong Dai Ngan) and 4-6 million tons (Lam Dong Ngan Hoa). For titanium ore, the goal is to reach 160,000 tons per year by 2030 (Lam Dong Bien Xanh). Notably, Lam Dong develops tourism economy, affirms its international-class destination, harmoniously combining nature, culture and modern services with famous brands such as: Da Lat, Bao Loc, Mui Ne, Phu Quy, Ta Dung, Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark, national tourist areas; the goal is to attract 25.75 million visitors and vacationers in 2026.
With the above breakthrough solutions, the whole province will have 82 communes meeting new rural standards, 12 communes meeting advanced new rural standards, 3 communes meeting modern model new rural standards, with an average income per capita of 109 million VND/year. With the multidimensional poverty rate decreasing by 1 - 1.5%, in which poor households of ethnic minorities will decrease by 2 - 3%.
