In an announcement this afternoon, November 24th, 911 Group Joint Stock Company (NO1) announced a resolution regarding the election of a new chairman of the board of directors.

Accordingly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thom was elected to serve as the chairperson of the company's board of directors for the remainder of the 2020-2025 term.

Ms. Thom is also the legal representative of the 911 Group.

In addition, the Board of Directors of 911 Group unanimously elected Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh and Mr. Nguyen Manh Hai to serve as vice chairmen for the remainder of the 2020-2025 term.

The meeting to finalize the key personnel of the 911 Group's board of directors took place on November 23rd, just one day after the death of Mr. Luu Dinh Tuan, the chairman of the company's board of directors.

According to the company's plan, an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders will be held on November 23rd.

Documents released before the meeting indicate that the general meeting is expected to discuss and approve many important issues for the company, such as dismissing and appointing board members, approving asset investments, amending internal regulations, and increasing capital.

One notable item on the agenda is that the board of directors will present to shareholders for approval the signing of a car sales and battery leasing service agreement with VinFast Trading and Service Company Limited. The contract is valued at 500 billion VND and is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.

The 911 Group has received more media attention recently after appearing at a meeting of 70 businesspeople representing 50 transportation companies in Hanoi last September, hosted by billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong.

At this event, Mr. Luu Dinh Tuan, the late chairman of the board of directors of 911 Group, shared the plan to develop the "911 taxi" branded taxi service with the goal of developing more than 200 vehicles by the end of 2024, expanding to more than 2,200 vehicles by the end of 2025, initially focusing on covering Dong Nai and Binh Duong provinces, and then expanding to other areas and cities nationwide.
