Collection of works of members of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists for book printing

Since its establishment, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) has always accompanied the development of the country, leaving its own mark, affirming its position in the domestic and international art field. These admirable achievements are all thanks to the contributions of generations of members of the VAPA. In order to honor its members, the VAPA has decided to publish a photo book introducing the authors and typical works of all photographic artists.

I. PURPOSE

- To record and record the contributions of members of the Vietnam Association of Fine Arts;

- Introducing typical photographic works of artists. Through the works, showing the transformation of Vietnamese photography;

- This is a photo book project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 72nd anniversary of Vietnam Photography Tradition Day (March 15, 1953 - March 15, 2025); to welcome the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists for the 2025 - 2030 term.

II. REQUIREMENTS

1. Participants: members of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (including deceased members) .

2. Specifications:

- Each author submits 03 single photos (color or black and white), in digital form, jpg format. The longest dimension of the photo is at least 3000 px, minimum capacity 5Mb;

- Works chosen by the author (have won awards, if the author has not won an award, the most typical work will be selected);

+ The work must have a clear title, caption, year of creation, and clearly state domestic and international awards (if any).

+ Author must clearly state full name, stage name, year of birth, hometown, current title, and include 01 portrait photo file.

Authors are responsible for the copyright of their works. The Organizing Committee is not responsible for any disputes related to copyright of works.

The Vietnam Association of Fine Arts is allowed to use the images for the purpose of promoting the book and does not have to pay royalties.

III. SELECTION COMMITTEE

Established by the decision of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

IV. FORM AND DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING

1. Photo submission method: Members send work files and personal information as required in Section II to the Executive Committee of the active Branch. The Executive Committee of the Branch collects and sends them to the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists on the website:

2. Deadline for photo submission: From the date of announcement to June 30, 2024.

V. RIGHTS OF AUTHORS:

Each author receives 01 book.
