
Students attend training class.
The training course was attended by more than 100 students who are physical education teachers of primary and secondary schools; youth unions of communes and wards; grassroots sports collaborators; lifeguards at swimming pools; university and college students; and armed forces soldiers.
Students are trained to improve safe swimming skills and basic knowledge on drowning prevention; in particular, they are instructed on how to recognize drowning; causes of drowning; measures to prevent drowning for children; benefits and effects of learning to swim; necessary regulations when participating in water traffic; safe ways to rescue drowning...
Through the training course, the aim is to equip students with more knowledge about safe swimming skills and drowning prevention for children in the province. Thereby, raising awareness and responsibility in the community and family about protecting children from injuries, especially drowning, creating a safe and healthy play space for children to develop comprehensively physically and mentally.
The training course takes place over 5 days from December 9 to 13.
