On March 25th, the organizing committee of the UIM-ABP Aquabike World Championship (Thi Nai Lagoon, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province) announced the results of the review of the Freestyle Grand Prix of Binh Dinh race after receiving a complaint from racer Rashid Al-Mulla.
According to information from the organizers, on March 24th, the initial results in the Freestyle category were announced, with Roberto Mariani (Italy) taking first place and Rashi Al Mulla taking second.
Disagreeing with the results, believing his performance in the second motorcycle race was more diverse and exciting but not as well-received as he expected, Rashid Al-Mulla appealed the judges' decision. Following the complaint, the organizers reviewed the video of Rashid Al-Mulla's performance, and the judges awarded him the victory in this round with 25 points. Meanwhile, Roberto Mariani's score dropped from 25 to just 22 points. "In the first motorcycle performance round, Rashid Al-Mulla received 22 points, and in the second round, after re-evaluation, he received 25 points. Roberto Mariani also received 25 points in the first round, but his score dropped to 22 in the second round. Therefore, the total points for both riders was 47. However, the results of the second round were decisive, so the final victory went to Rashid Al-Mulla," a representative of the organizing committee stated.
