46 resolutions on the activities of the Provincial People's Council, in the fields of finance, agriculture , environment, science and technology, health, education, culture, and internal affairs were unanimously approved by the delegates.
The resolution on the socio-economic development plan of Tay Ninh province for the period 2026-2030 sets out 20 key targets. Some notable targets include an average annual economic growth rate (GRDP) of 10-10.5%. By 2030, the average GRDP per capita is expected to reach 210-225 million VND, and average income is projected to reach 94 million VND…
The three breakthroughs include: Administrative reform linked to training and developing a team of officials and high-quality human resources; breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, green transformation, and the circular economy; and breakthroughs in mobilizing all resources to build infrastructure, especially a synchronous and modern transportation infrastructure connecting key development regions.
The province continues to adjust and effectively implement the provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. It is implementing comprehensive solutions to promote the formation of centers, regions, driving axes, economic corridors, and social welfare zones.
Simultaneously, there will be plans and roadmaps for investing in and constructing the provincial and commune-level political and administrative centers, in accordance with the planning and actual conditions, ensuring efficiency and preventing waste.
The urban development program will be accelerated and the quality of urban areas will be improved. Smart cities will be formed, with a focus on developing new, large-scale, modern cities that are integrated with Ho Chi Minh City and the industrial metropolitan area.
Simultaneously, diversify housing types, encourage and promote investment in the development of social housing and housing for workers. Strive to complete the construction of approximately 79,400 social housing units.
Key projects in Tay Ninh over the next five years include: the Moc Bai - Trans-Asian industrial and urban corridor connecting road; the Ho Chi Minh City - Tay Ninh - Dong Thap road (provincial road 827E); the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4; the Duc Hoa arterial road; the Tan An - Binh Hiep road; and the Provincial Political and Administrative Center.
Tay Ninh will also focus on directing compensation and land clearance, mobilizing all resources to organize the implementation of the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai and Go Dau - Xa Mat (phase 1) expressways during the 2026-2030 period. This includes the Binh Chanh - Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 - My Quy Tay border gate arterial road, and the Vam Co River system arterial road.
