Appraisal of many contents related to rural electricity supply projects from the national grid

(QNO) - This morning, January 10, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu chaired a working session with relevant departments and branches on the transfer, receipt of capital, assets and capital repayment for the Rural Electricity Supply Project from the national grid of Quang Nam province in the period 2013 - 2020.

The project is implemented in 307 villages of 82 communes in 9 mountainous districts in the province including Tay Giang, Nam Giang, Dong Giang, Phuoc Son, Nam Tra My, Bac Tra My, Hiep Duc, Tien Phuoc, Nong Son with a total investment of 613 billion VND. Of which, 85% of the total investment comes from the central budget and ODA capital, 15% of the total investment comes from the local budget.

Regarding the sub-projects, Sub-project 1 in the 2014 - 2018 period, implemented in 52 villages, 32 communes in 9 districts, has approved the project settlement with a total settlement value of more than 115 billion VND, providing electricity to more than 2,100 households. Sub-project 2 is under construction and conducting design surveys for the remaining items. Sub-project 3 is under construction and has completed 58/92 items, but has not yet been constructed due to problems and lack of capital for 28 items, and has cut 6 items without investment.

At the working session, representatives of relevant departments, branches and localities mentioned difficulties and obstacles in the process of project implementation, discussed and agreed on contents to continue implementing the project according to the approved implementation order.
